Solví Valorização Energética (SVE) is the Group's arm dedicated exclusively to the search for alternative, economically viable and environmentally responsible sources capable of generating energy.
Responsible for the Renewable Energy Generation Area, he works in the Development, Implementation and Operation of Renewable Energy Generation Projects with a focus on generating energy from waste such as biogas.
Located in the municipality of Caieiras, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, the plant processes biogas captured by Solví Essencis in its Sustainable Recovery Unit (UVS), one of the largest landfills in the world. With an area of 3.5 million square meters and receiving 10.5 thousand tons of waste per day, mainly from Greater São Paulo and other municipalities, UVS Caieiras is an example of a circular economy, transforming waste into clean and renewable biofuel, in addition to other uses such as generating electricity.

Considering the annual production of Essencis Biomethane, the plant will avoid the emission of around 300 thousand tons of CO₂ equivalent per year, contributing to the energy transition and decarbonization of industries.
In addition, the plant will be able to issue CBIOs (decarbonization credits) through the RenovaBio Program, further strengthening its commitment to sustainability.
