Biomethane is the fuel of the future, and for Solví it is already a reality. Through the proper treatment of organic waste in our high-tech landfills, we produce biogas, a mixture rich in methane. This gas is captured, purified, and converted into biomethane, a renewable fuel that efficiently, economically, and with a lower environmental impact replaces diesel and other fossil fuels.
Our first plant, located at UVS Caieiras (SP), one of the largest landfills in the world, has a production capacity of 70,000 cubic meters per day of biomethane. This green fuel powers Solví's own fleet of waste collection trucks, closing a sustainable cycle that connects waste, energy, and clean mobility.
