Materiality Matrix
The materiality matrix is an essential step in our sustainability strategy. It guides us in identifying priority issues with the greatest impact on our business through consultation with our stakeholders. At the same time, it allows us to contribute positively to society and the environment.
This process is led by our Sustainability Committee, which defines the guidelines, structures the action plans, and monitors the indicators, all to ensure that our commitments are met.
Our materiality matrix was last updated in 2023. In that process, we listened to 12 priority groups, both internal and external, such as: industry associations, employers' unions, experts, clients, communities, financial institutions, investors, regulatory bodies, management, board of directors, employees, contractors, and suppliers.
Based on these observations, we applied the dual materiality approach, which allows us to better understand the impacts of our activities and relate them to ESG themes and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
